In the first game of the series, Zenmervolt came out of the gate strong, posting a convincing victory over Stat. 1100 and leading fans and experts alike to predict that Zenmervolt would cruise through the series without any serious effort. No one told Stat. 1100 about this however, and a combination of Zenmervolt's hubris and amazing preparation on the part of Stat. 1100 served to hand Zenmervolt a stunningly solid defeat in the second round of this matchup. After the defeat, Zenmervolt was humbled but he refused to give up on his hopes for the series. In an interview shortly after the defeat he said, "Well, I certainly can't take anything away from Stat. 1100. It came out strong and played with an amazing intensity the second time. I simply wasn't prepared for it to do that after the first round. However, I think that we'll all agree that I was not playing to my full potential out there; I let myself get overconfident and I was looking past Stat. 1100. That's not going to happen again." Sources close to Zenmervolt have confirmed that he has been working very hard in recent practices and odds-makers have Zenmervolt as a slight favorite in tomorrow morning's final matchup between the two. In a press conference earlier this evening, Zenmervolt was confident that his preparation would pay off. "I'm not expecting things to be easy for me tomorrow, Stat. 1100 is going to come after me hard because it will be confident after that last win. But I've been working very hard in practice and I think I'm ready for it; I think I can handle whatever it throws at me. I also think that I want this more; I think I've got the intangibles in this matchup and I think I'll come out ahead."
