Zenith HDTV Set Problem?

I have a Zenith HDTV Monior Model C27V22. and I was wondering if anybody else who has this model has this problem with it or is my set defective?
Problem: When ever I try to watch an HD 1080I Source the picture flashes on and off and says to connect a propper input of HD 480P 60HZ or HD1080I 60HZ which is my HD cable box (Scientific Alanata Explorer 4200HD) It works fine in 480P mode and on Svideo and antenna but not 1080I IM Using componet video cables and I can See the picture clear when it flashs on Thanks

Sure your antenna is getting good enough reception? Typically HDTV receivers have a signal strength meter, so check that out. Perhaps your receiver has suboptimal MPEG-2 error correction and just shows a blank screen if there are errors.

My HD ATI Dongle does the same thing on 1080I so its not my tuner THanks

If it's happening with something else (the ATI thing) it probably has nothing to do with this, but my cable box would do that, it would show up for a second, then go blank, but only in 1080i. Turned out to just be a weak signal, caused by some random splitter that had been installed and not capped.
