Zen Vision M video out question

I was thinking of getting a Zen Vision to partially act as an easier way to play Divx files on my TV. How is the quality when doing this and is there much headache trying to get Divx files playing? Will it output widescreen resolutions? Is there a device better suited to this (Mp3 player / TV out video)? I really don't care about watching videos on a tiny screen.
