Zen Vision: M owners - does your player do this?

Just bought a Vision: M today, and I've been trying to transfer files to it this evening. It's frozen on me a couple times, and makes a rather loud "pop" sound when I turn it on - something, I assume, to do with the drive inside it; there isn't anything else on it that moves. Should I take this one back and exchange it?

Are you talking about the loud pop for when the thing turns on and you hear it through your headphones?... If so... that's normal...

If the actual player is making that... Then... Something is wrong?...
 
it's the player - I don't have any headphones plugged in right now 🙂

EDIT: this thing also seems to be picky about which USB port it's plugged into. First I tried plugging it into my USB hub, and it worked - but the hub is only usb 1.1 . So, I tried plugging it straight into the computer - and the player had a fit. that's when it froze on me. Now it's back on the hub, and working just fine.

one more bump before I call it a night. I think I'm just going to get all my stuff off and take it back for an exchange tommorow morning. That said, it does seem to be working fine right now.

Mine does the click and pop as well. Im pretty sure its just the hard drive. I dont think theres anything wrong. I havent had any USB snyc problems.
