I just got another 9950x on Amazon for $434. Its going to replace my 7950x3d, as I don't play games. Once I sell it, I will get another 9950x for a total of 3 !

Oh, and my first x870 motherboard and 2 x 16 gb cas 30 6000 memory sticks !

@Markfw, if you are feeling adventurous, someone got CUDIMM working @ 8400 in bypass mode.

You will HATE IT coz either EXPO or XMP may not work reliably or the speed won't reach anywhere near its rated 8800 MT/s without manual voltages and overclocking.

I can feel the difference. The OS feels smoother too.

So this guy has created custom power plans for single CCD CPUs. I can't use them since I don't have such a CPU nor do I intend to get one any time soon. Maybe it helps someone here?

hope RAM wasn't too expensive or was your 12700K build already DDR5
I was watching "the tide" and bought just in time, in my country there was a delay as old inventory sold through. Prices started going up last week right just as I bought all the parts.

The 12700K is on DDR4, back then the prices on DDR5 were already prohibitive.
