Zelda articles on Wikipedia

I have been reading about old games on Wikipedia, and realized I had been doing it for nearly an hour and a half now. The articles cover a lot of stuff that I never knew about some of my two favorite Zelda games, such as the hidden room in Link to the Past, and the Arwing (Starfox aircraft) in Ocarina of Time. Not to mention a few other cool things that the programmers and producers never put in.

Link to the Past
Ocarina of Time

Ganondorf is the coolest villian in the history of video games. Other than that the games are pretty fun anyway.

I loved the ocarina of time, wicked fun game, one of the best titles for N64, and thats saying something, for a system that (i think) had some of the best mutiplayer games ever made... I still play super smash brothers, goldeneye, mario kart, and mario tennis fairly regularly...

You aren't kidding. I absolutely LOVE Mario Kart. And Goldeneye. And Smash Brothers

After reading all this stuff, I wish I had a ROM at work, or I could go home and play these two Zelda games on my consoles 🙂

yeaaa, back when I worked as a lifeguard, I would bring my 64 to work, and since me and a few of the older guards basically ran the place, we hooked it up to the TV the city gave us for showing CPR instructional videos, and made the younger guards go out on rotation while we played video games all day...

god, desk jobs suck.

Wikipedia is taking a dump today, pages have to be reloaded many times for me, anyone else getting this?

Yep... I've been trying to read the article on Majora's Mask, but it is loading slower than balls.

on your first link about a link to the past, if you read the caption for the pictures on the right it says multiple endings. One where the master sword is put back on the pedestal (I got this ending all the time), and another where the king and his maidens greet you.

I think you're confused... I believe it's showing two scenes from the ending sequence.

Now that Wikipedia finally loaded, I see the images.

Yeah, those are two scenes from the end. I remember seeing the seven maidens. The ending song is sweet, too 🙂

oh yeah darn.. maybe I forgot.. that was a loooong time ago..

I actually didn't beat that game on my own until I was in 6th grade! My brother always made me leave when him and his friends would play it. They beat it, and they didn't want me figuring out how to beat it.

Probably a good thing, I guess.

Is it just me, or is the Zelda storyline hard to follow chronologically? Or do the games have nothing to do with each other...?

what hidden room in a link to the past?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chris_Houlihan_Room

Apparently its almost impossible to get to. I never knew about it until today.

Even with a gameshark/gamegenie 😕...

I remember that. I was dropping into that pyramid to fight gannon, and all the sudden I was there, and when I exited, I came out of Link's house in the Light world.
