whats the difference between the models that have Cu and ALCU,,, as far as i know from chem it shouldn't be too far difference in specific heat value so why?? lol

Aluminum and copper. AlCu models mix the two (not in one alloy, but on different parts of the heatsink), Cu is all copper.

Copper is more conductive so the heatsink removes heat from the chip more efficiently. Usually only 2-4c difference between the two versions on 7000 (cpu) heatsinks and vf700 (gpu) heatsinks. I believe the 7700 is a larger difference.

The all copper versions are much heavier.
