Zalman ZM17CU - anyone tried it?

The fan on my GF4 has begun to sound really bad. It makes a lot of noise when starting up, but becomes more quiet after a while. I think it is beginning to give up. I have only had it for about 2 weeks.

So. I'm thinking of buying a Zalman ZM17CU. Is it easy to install? Read somewere that you didn't need a fan with this hetasink, altough they recomend using one.
