I'm considering picking up a few sets of these for my LAN at home... Whatcha think of them?

Tom's Hardware seemed to like them for gaming, but thought they were a little weak for movies. Which is fine with me... Gaming is my priority.

I'm happy with them. You will get plenty of audiophiles say that you can't reproduce 5.1 audio with a pair of headphones, but these do the job. I only played Doom3 with my Zalman, but the surround sound effect is great with them. I also use them to watch HD AC3 feeds from my satellite PCI card. Great pair of headphones and at only $65 (cnd), there're also a surprisingly good deal. But these headphones don't replace my Sennheiser's for listening to music.

I have 'em... they work pretty well. Not as good as a high-quality surround speaker setup (obviously!), but better than 2-channel headphones for games, a lot cheaper, and it won't bug the neighbors/rest of your family as much. :)

They're just OK for music, though. Much better than crap $5 minibuds, but certainly not up to par with decent name-brand headphones.

Like I said, their primary function will be LAN gaming... So, it sounds like they'll work out real well. :)

I have em, they work as advertised in 5.1, sound just really sucks in general tho. Dont expect any solid bass or anything like that. Good for games and dvds but definately not for music. Cant beat the price for what it can do tho. For music I use highend headphones.
