i'm thinking about getting one of these with a 9800 pro.
in fact, i'm thinking about going all zalman for everything to get my pc quiet.

anybody use this thing for OC?
how good is it? and does having that extra top fan thing help at all?

I've got one on my 9800Pro. It works fine, my card o/cs to 425/365 stable. Runs most things fine at about 475/365, but it'll artifact in really heavy-duty 3D.

It gets *really* hot while it's running under load, though, and the heatpipe doesn't cool the memory. I just ordered the fan to go with it (the OM-12 or whatever), so we'll see if that helps.

The fan doesn't really help. The heatsink gets hot, but that heat is coming off the GPU, so all the better.

I can run my 9800 Pro @ 425/360 w/ the heatpipe and OP-1 fan.

It doesn't cool the memory though, so that kinda holds you back.
