Zalman VF900 v. Stock 7900 GTX cooler

I just picked up a GTX and it seems to have a really nice BEEFY cooler on it. should I install the vf900 anyway?

I tried the vf900 on my 7900 gtx. It cooled pretty much exactly the same as the stock cooler yet it was a little louder imo.....so I put the stock cooler back on since it looked cooler and cooled just as well...

at lowest speed (quietess) setting the Vf900 cools exactly the same as my stock 7800GT-CO cooler (which was the 7800GTX cooler) so i am going to say at low-speed the 7900GTX cooler will rape the VF900. But i do not know how much quiter the VF900 at lowest setting compared to the stock 7900GTX cooler?
