I just found it on zalman support:

Our VF700 is operates in following current.

At 12V = 2650RPM = 0.14A

At 5 V = 1400RPM = 0.06A

If anyone else would like to know.

I don't claim to know exactly why he needs this information.

But, when I have needed to know how much current a fan drew was because I needed to calculate the effective resistance of the fan in order to calculate what size resistor I may need to add to reduce its voltage to reduce its RPM.

You can do it by trial and error. But, if you start from a preliminary calculation, you will be much closer to what you want.

I set up my VF700 to plug directly into the graphics card and used driver fan control. Just pull the two pins out of the VF700 fan header and slip them into the header on the graphics' PCB (make sure not to mix up 12V and ground)

I needed the info cause i plugged the VF700 directly to gfx card, i hate extra wires trough my case. Original fan drew 0.19A and i was hoping that zalman drew equal or less so that i don`t fry the "control electronics for the fan" i don`t know if that is a correct english term for what i mean.

I just used the two pin connector from the old "original" fan and solderd the wires on the (+ -) of vf 700, left the white wire (rpm detection) isolated, its not needed. Its all working and looking great, im very happy with the mod.
