Zalman VF700 cu

I have ASUS 7600GT with Zlaman VF700 CU on it. Now I purchased BFG 7950GT OC and I want to put the Zalman on it.

My question is, are the small ramsinks that come with the Zlaman removable? ASUS 7600GT uses 4 ramsinks and I have 4 spare ones, since the package comes with 8 ramsinks and 7950GT uses all 8 of them. Since i am selling my 7600GT with the stock cooler, is it possible to remove those ramsinks from it and put them to my new video card?

Thanks in advance

Yes, I've actually used my zalman on three different video cards. Get some rubbing alcohol and scrub the adhesive pads a little bit and they'll get pretty sticky again. No problem.

Nice case goobernoodles 😉.

You may be able to pull them off easily... However, if they are attached really well, do not try to rip them off.

Turn on the computer and play a game for 10 minutes or so to heat up the card, then turn off the computer and try to remove them.

Wow I never knew that.. I bought new Shinetsu pads from FrozenCPU or was it SidewinderComputers and I put those sticky pads onto the heatsink and they stuck back onto my 7800GT nicely...

Removal: Twist a little and they fall off INSTANTLY....

Have fun with the cooler. It'll do an awesome job.
