I was thinking about getting one of these (rather pricey) heatsinks and using it in conjunction with a fan bracket and a papst 19.4 CFM 80mm fan. I wanted to do this for my Geforce 4 ti4400.
Should I be ok? I'm not too bothered if it will hinder the overclocking of the core, I just want something really quiet. Given that I've just replaced my case fans with slient papst ones, as well as my PSU fan - the noisey fan on my gainward is the only thing holding me back from blissful silence.
