Zalman NB & SLK900 on 8rda+ problem

Well I got both slk900 and the zalman NB heatsink to put on my 8rda+, and quickly ran into a problem.
The slk900 hangs over the NB so the zalman doesn't have the clearence it needs... so now its sitting on my SB pretty much useless.
Anyone have this combination and see how to fix it (besides cutting the metal)?

It looks like the Zalman (ZM-NB32?) is the same size as the stock HS that was on my A7N8X-DX. I pulled my NB HS and put on a Vantec Iceberq. I think you'll either need to clear the fins on the Zalman or your 900. I had to notch out my 900 so I could clear the caps by the socket, I didn't want to try and bend them. I decided to get the Swiftech instead, it fits very nicely and gives me about equivalent temps.

amcdonald just curious but why do you want to change the stock HS that came mounted on the northbridge of the 8RDA+? Have you heard that it doesn't do that well of a job?

Well when I oc the fsb to 185 its getting really hot... just too hot for my tastes
I have a silent pc so the airflow isn't exactly great
