I got the NV5 and put it on, it took a long time to get it to fit correctly, but i noticed that my temps are not much different especially while idle temp seems to be up but under load it does OK, i think i may get the zalman, what do you guys think, how do i get the A5 goop of my rams?
 
Yeah the Zalmam is an upgrade. I switched from a Silencer to the Zalman because of space issues and temps got better and it was quieter.
 
Use rubbing alcohol - lots of it - to get the goop off. The AS has potential to fry the PCB, so make sure you get it ALL off. That's why we don't use AS5 on the rams, only on the core.
 
ZALMAN all the way, very easy to install as well unless ur choose the Heat pipe model.

NV5 suits radeons not Geforces, in some instances it may performance the same as ur stock cooler so whats the point in buying it.
