Zalman Flower Heatsinks any good?

Anyone ever tried them? How do they rate?

According to a recent review at Tom's Hardware, they are pretty but they suck.

They work really well if you don't use them the way they suggest.

Good heat transfer and lots of surface area.

They were intended to allow one to make an Athlon 1ghz *fanless* cpu cooling solution. So they probably won't allow overclocking and will run really hot, but will still cool within cpu heat specs. They probably would work as a fanless solution for lower speed XPs, but may need a low speed cpu fan for the faster ones. Unless you are trying to build a silent PC, these aren't really anything to write home about.
