I came accross the Zalman fan bracket available seperately and I was suddenly struck how it could be the most essential purchase for an air-cooled system EVER. I mean stick 1 or 2 of these in your system with a quietish Mid-RPM 92mm or 120mm fan and you could improve your cooling no end, im thinking one over the CPU and one over the Northbridge. Has anyone got any of these yet, and what other ways could you use them in? Anyone recommend any fans to go with the brackets? I think im gonna get me some and I want ideas... :D:beer:

seems like they'd be blowing hot case air over stuff. its better just to slice a hole in the side and mount a fan.

I don't think 2 would fit very well. Plus, you can mount 2 fans to one bracket. Another plus, a 92mm fan is probably large enough to cover the CPU and NB with air, a 120mm fan certainly is more than large enough (I have one for my Zalman SuperFlower HS dealie). Adding fans for the sake of "pushing more air around" won't make things better, and may make things worse if it alters the airflow of your case.
