The 9500 is a hot deal. The 7000 can be had for $10 cheaper at EndPCNoise. All copper version for a few bucks cheaper, even. Could even get the 7700 CU version (all copper, 120 mm fan!) for 4 cents less. 😀

How would this work on that Athlon 64 4000 from the other thread??? I dont plan to OC it to much, maybe just a tad 😉

I had some store credit at CUSA, so I picked up one of the 9500's and put it on the 4000+ from the Newegg special.

I am overclocking it @ 3.12GHZ and am getting 32-34C idle temps depending on fan speed. At its slowest, it gives 33 or 34C idle temps.....high speed gives temps at or below the motherboard temps. Seems to be a good cooler for the money and works great on the 4000+.
