Just got mine from the egg 80 bucks with freight but worth every penny went from 50 to 32c on my x2 5000.
Thats a huge drop and I am sure it will go even lower once the thermal grease cures a bit.

A+++ product and quiet as well

I'm running the smaller CNPS9500 at minimum fan speed on my OC'ed E6600. I got to 3.2GHz @ 1.4V, Orthos 24-hour stable, with a maximum load temp of 65C on Core0.

Nice. Not sure id say its worth $80 but.... 😛

Whats the difference between the 9500 and 9700 anyways? They look almost identical.

IIRC, the 9500 is a 92mm fan and 9700 is a ~120mm. I have the 'standard' copper 9700 on my Opty 170. I'm running at 32C right now. Not bad for no AC running.

I upgraded froma 9700NT to a ninja a while ago....I upgraded back to the 9700......man I hate that ninja, almost lost a finger on it lol

Nice *looking* cooler!

Is that thing really black, or just an optical illusion?

The NT version is Nickel plated; it's more like black chrome. There's still a shiny brightness to it. Still looks sick!

yeah, it's a great cooler for looks. used m]y 9700 until my overclock got above it's capacities as a cooler. it was wicked quiet too.
