I think there are other heatsinks that are better for cheaper. I forgot what they were but there are websites out there that test a ton of heatsinks. That thing is also quite heavy when i picked it up at the local Fryz. With that weight, you dont want to move your computer around a lot or go to a lan and let it fall and break your vid card.

It's screwed in tight. It's not going anywhere. That hsf really improves airflow. I don't have it (mine is the 7700cu), but it really moves air out the back of the case.
 
Ive been reading many reviews on this exact heatsink/fan..
the one con that really makes me not decide is the huge-ness of it.
I have a A8N-SLI Premium board, has anyone had any experiences with this fan on this board?
I know the fan exceeds the mobo by a few; my case has a little bit of room between the board and PSU, so i'm not sure if I want to fork over 50 bucks to find out if i'm right or wrong 🙁
