i'm thinking about getting this, but i needa know a something b4 i make my decision to purchase

http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/4830/case4vu.jpg

i have 2 fans at the bottom blowing to the rear (arrow)

the circle indicates where my CPU is w/ my heatsink & fan, if i'm to get the 9500, would it be facing/blowing with my case fans to the rear? or will it be facing/blowing up/down?

could anyone take pics for me :) i would really appreciate it! i kind of wonder if my wind-tunnel will get in the way of the 9500. i don't wanna sacrifice one for the other, i love my wind-tunnel.

The thing about the CNPS 9500 is it can be mounted to blow in any of the 4 directions, so you have your choice. Ideally you would mount it to blow along with the front and rear fans for continuous air flow. Its an excellent cooler, and what I am using in my Centurion 532 from cooler master, heck some reviews even say its better than low end water cooling kits. The only downside is mounting is tricky, but zalman has some mounting videos on their website.

As far as your system goes, it will pretty much flow perfectly in your wind tunnel, so I can see it keeping things very cool inside your setup. Just make sure the fan is blowing with the flow of your tunnel and you are golden.

You're in great shape. I set mine up to direct the warm air right at an exhaust fan too.

sup bro, i think u'll be the best person to help me out (we have the same motherboard!!! and almost the same video card, but i'm sure they're the same size except my X850XT is fatter, but dimension wise it's prob same)

i noticed ur picture - i don't have a ruler at the moment so i'm ****** out of luck, but i did notice ur video card :) so we can base my needed measurements thru that

which one stands higher b/w your 9500 and video card?

my current temps @ 2.6 w/ 1.4V are 34~ IDLE and <55 LOAD (i can hit 27-29 IDLE w/ my fan high and case open)

if i'm at 34~ IDLE, wut would u predict my temps to be with the 9500?

wut if i OC to 3.0GHz assuming that my CPU could hit that? :)
