Much better design than the 9500. The 92 mm fan will be able to cool the MOSFETs and capacitors on the MB. I'd like to see a large design with 120 mm fan that can also cool the RAM modules.

looks interesting. seems like they're going back towards a more traditional design. wonder if it'll complete well with the thermalright products.

has zalman ever made a 120mm product?


EDIT: reading this article carefully made me reconsider the quality of the article.

While your there take a look at the CNPS9500 AT to, either one of these heatsink will make a addition for any system you have or are planning on building and with the name Zalman on the product you know you have the very best.

is the reviewer a native english speaker?

I think this is more of a mid-range product, the 9500 is the high-end HS/F and competes well with the top Thermalright stuff.

The CNPS 7700 is based on a 120mm fan.

I'd like to see a heat-piped version of the 7700. Properly done, it could surpass the 9500 in performance.

That heatsink looks cool. Id like to see some better reviews though compared to like Ninja / xp-90c/ultra90 and such.
