There's newer, better stuff out there from Zalman, like the CNPS9500.

Actually the CNPS horizontal radial will fit more case situations than the 9500, etc. will. Consider your case's airflow pattern before buying any HSF solution.

I have to take issue with that. About two years ago I installed a CNPS7700 into a friend's system. It was of eye-popping size and weight. The problem was that it got very wide at a height that wasn't too far above the motherboard.
I installed a CNPS9500 into my rig when I built it about nine months ago. The nice thing about it is that it is lighter than the 7700, and provides more clearance immediately around the CPU socket (not that my Asus P5W-DH needs it, but other motherboards might). Plus, the 9500 is a more efficient cooler than the 7700.
It's the the CNPS9700 that might have some clearance issues in tight cases.
