I just recently built a new system and was not overly pleased with the performance of the Zalman cooler. I was wondering if theres going to be any noticeable difference if I switched from the zalman cnps7000b-cu to a Scythe Ninja. I think the ninja will be better suited for my case since I do not have a side fan and have 2 case fans that will be directly behind it. Thanks in advance.

Were you running that e4300 at 2.9 with the zalman 7000?
There should be a big different between the 2 sinks, temps should drop like a rock.

Should be a huge difference.

That Zalman 7000 is barely better than Intel's stock cooler, if at all.

I used a 7000 back in my AMD 3200+ venice days, & it was basically the same temps as my stock s939 cooler, or actually worse when the stock was at higher RPMs.

Happy now?

There's only one thing the 7000 is good at, & that's being quiet.
