I currently have a Thermalright SK-7 and was thinking about changing my HS/F. Mostly because of noise, but if I can get better cooling I am all for it. I have heard mixed reviews on the Zalman HS/F found here at Newegg but I dont know if it really works.

I am currently running an OC'ed 2700+ at 2.2 (200*11) and my full load temps around around 53C, which is not all that bad.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

You have a quality heatsink, and it does not make any noise. I'd replace the fan, which makes noise, with a low (21dB) or medium noise (30dB) panaflo. Your temps may rise slightly, but they are respectable as it is.

Ok, I look into getting a different fan. Cheaper way to start either way. The TMD fans are cool, but they have this "wine" that is very disterbing. What kind of CFM should I be looking for? I mean with a dB of 21 or so, it couldnt be pushing much air.

Thanks!
