Yea, I'm kind of in the same place as you. I just posted here looking at pretty much the same heatsink/fan on newegg.

I'd go for the Aluminum\Copper version of that heatsink. It's much lighter, cheaper, and performs the same or better.

Is it actually better.. the pure copper version is only $5 more, so it's not a big deal.

Ive been looking into the Zalman myself and it seems really promising for the cost. My vote for the zalman

I just bought the Zalman for my barton 2500 that I plan on taking to 3200. Haven't tried it out yet though. I got it because it's so highly acclaimed.

I just bought the Zalman AiCu version. The all copper one is nearly twice as heavy and offers little performance difference. The kit comes with a sturdy metal/fiberglass backing plate and brass screws for the Athlon 64 platform. I mounted it yesterday. Very solid, and pretty sweet looking. Makes me wish I had a clear side panel.

Zalman has a "B" version that's coming out. It's supposed to be 7 grams lighter, and offers slightly better performance. I wouldn't sweat not finding one. I couldn't.
