Zalman CNPS3100+ or TT Silent Boost?

I have a MSI KT6V-LSR motherboard as can be seen here:
http://www.newegg.com/app/View...tion=13-130-445&depa=0
and this case:
http://www.newegg.com/app/View...tion=11-144-071&depa=0

I have an Athlon XP 2500+ (Barton) that I want to OC to 200x11. I've read that many of the better HSF's won't fit on my mobo because they need mounting holes or something. The Zalman and the TT seem to have high ratings on Newegg. Looking for some more educated opinions on my choices (thus the posting here!). My main concerns are
1) Will the Zalman fit/work in my case (too narrow?)
2) Some say that TT sucks - why? Bad cooling or just noisy?

Not overly concerned w/ noise, though silence wouldn't hurt.

Thanks all in advance...

I'd take the Silent Boost. The 3100+ is an older model heatsink so it's past its prime...

People don't like TT because they tend to copy designs and overrate their specs. The SilentBoost is overrated (rated quieter than it actually is) in the dB category, but copies a tried and true ThermalRight style design. It's not a bad value heatsink fan unit. There are two versions of it, one uses a Panaflo fan the other uses a cheaper quality fan which is louder. The cheaper fan version has a "-01" suffix.
