Zalman CNPS10X & socket AM3

I'm looking for an air cooler to replace a stock HSF on an AM3 Phenom II. I've heard good things about the Zalman CNPS10X but after reading some reviews on Newegg it seems like some people are having problems with mounting it securely on socket AM3 boards. Needless to say I am not completely sold on it yet. Anyone here use this particular HSF with an AM3 processor?
 
I bought trhe CNPS10X Quiet from Fry's but immediately returned it because the only orientation I have to go by in order for it to fit my 79XTD EVO was to have the fan exhaust over my RAM.

I have the 955BE and I didn't notice any mounting issues, however, the kit comes with a single bracket/bar for mounting on AMDs and I could just suspect that in the long term that the single bar + the wieght of the cooler may result in insecure fastening.
