Zalman CNPS-7000A AlCu or Nexus AXP-3200?

I'm deciding which of these to get to use in my new machine.

I'll be using a Shuttle AN35N motherboard in an Antec SX635BII case. Now, I would have got the Zalman by now but I'm afraid it wont fit on the motherboard. Yes, I've seen the compatibility list on Zalman's site and for the Shuttle board it says it will fit as long as the PSU isn't in the way. Well, I haven't ordered the mobo or the case yet and I don't know whether or not it's going to fit. What are the chances that it will fit?

The other choice is the Nexus AXP-3200. This website has pretty high praise for this HSF. Anyone have any personal experience with it?

What do ya say, people?

Get the Nexus or another conventional shaped heatsink if you're not sure about it fitting. If your PSU sits up against the motherboard, the Zalman probably won't fit unless the CPU socket if very far down the motherboard PCB.

Tru, you can get a Thermaltake Silentboost (an excellent copper HSF) for under $30 at Newegg.

OK but guys those fans are LOUD. I'm looking at these two because they not only will do a good job cooling, they are quiet too.

Depends what you are running in the system. The silentboost shouldn't sound much more than normal 80mm fans.

And it MIGHT fit the case...I have a raidmax and that's 16.5"and There is no room between the PSU and the mobo. That case is 17.25 ".

I think i silent boost is crap and i have first hand exp

It is way bigger then the thermalright 900a and does not cool as well wih the same 92mm panaflo L1A

The fan that comes with the silentboost is crap, it is loud at 12V and clicks at 7V or 5V.

Get the 948U at SVC for 20 with coupon code, it is still going on.
