Hey, does the Zalman NB47J Passive Northbridge Cooler fit on the A8n-SLI deluxe?

Yes. I have a question about this myself: Does anyone have the Zalman NB47J heatsink installed in a computer residing in a hot environment? My room can sometimes get up to 85F, and at college I may not have air conditioning...I'm worried about stability with a passive northbridge heatsink.

Yes it fits and I have dual 6600GTs. I also got a replacement chipset cooler from Asus which I am not going to use unless I need rma.

I also use one; it's easy to install. (See sig.)

I've also seen one installed in a dual 6800GT system. Very tight, but not touching.

I never had any problems with over-heating while OCing, but my house doesn't get to 85F. With a non OC, I'd bet you'd be fine.

I have one installed on my asus A8N-E with a 6800 ultra PCI-E

IT DOES NOT FIT WITH STOCK HSF OR WITH NV5.

I am currently using the Zalman 7700 cu (I think that's the model) with my 6800 ultra. This cooler leaves enough room for the chipset heatsink.

hey lytalbayre, are you sure the Zalman 7700-cu is the one you are using, cuz it's a 120mm fan. If so, well, that's fine for me, I was just wondering if this mega fan is going to fit on the A8N-E.
