I have stock cooling right now and I would like a good cooling solution for my C2D E6600 @ 3.0. right now its running at 50'C and i feel that it will sap the life out of it fairly quickly at that temperature. I have this heatsink in my older 3800+ setup and want to make the switch but i'm unsure if it will fit onto this board because its quite a large fan! The zalman site does not list this board as compatible nor incompatible.

Yes it will fit. I have a P5B Deluxe and it has the same HSF mounts. I am using that HSF right now, Tuniq will be here in like 30mins....... If i were you i would got fot a Thermaltake big typhoon. The temps are not that great with the 7700.

My god my links are a mess.

Sorry about that and thank you for the reply, I may just save myself some time and get a better HSF next week.
