I consider it hot - considering I was looking for one through FS/T and people are selling them used with parts missing for upwards of $50. Minimum of $20 that I've seen.

i bought one of these for my clawhammer. Although they are easy to put on, it appears that they are nice and quiet but are not a real performer in keeping the CPU cool.

Well, you could put some quiet fan (ex. Panaflo L1A) on XP-90. It performs as good as/better than Zalman 7000 with similar noise level.

these might not be the best at cooling, but to say they're not vastly superior to stock would be wrong. i have both the Al/Cu and the straight Cu edition and they're great.
