i bought one of these for my clawhammer. Although they are easy to put on, it appears that they are nice and quiet but are not a real performer in keeping the CPU cool.

Be sure to also check out the XP-90. It's $24.99 at Jab tech now. I beleive there's already a thread here int he hot deals about it. Either here or FW

Yeah, I just want a quiet one so my boy and wife can surf in peace. They don't like the vacuum I put on my ALX-800. Some people...

I'm about to place my order, if someone can get money or coupons for being my "referral" ...too late somebody got it.

Well, you could put some quiet fan (ex. Panaflo L1A) on XP-90. It performs as good as/better than Zalman 7000 with similar noise level.

these might not be the best at cooling, but to say they're not vastly superior to stock would be wrong. i have both the Al/Cu and the straight Cu edition and they're great.
