Sys Fan 1 doesn't work (isn't paired with anything else). Tried everything else in BIOS. Tested it with a multimeter, it's outputting 12v. When I attach a fan w/LEDs, the LEDs actually light up, but are very dim and flicker a bit.

Fans work on other headers, fan controller, etc just fine. Tested multiple fans.

I've had a fan plugged into said header. Went to bed, and this morning that fan was spinning on my desk. Very odd.

problem....solved? It's detected by the I/O as well, as I get a RPM reading for sysfan 1 now too.

3 pin fans. I think I might have blown or shorted something during some fan modding but I guess it healed itself?

I think the issue was that 2xhigh speed fans were taking too much power. 12v x 1A = 1.2w. I believe gigabyte rates the headers at 1A... I'm pretty certain of that, sin0822 said they're 1A, I think he may have even said they were 2A or 1+.

Must be causing some sort of shutdown in the firmware though, which is why it still won't work after trying other fans and stuff, and then eventually working again. Er, I hope it works again this time, heh, cmos resetting doesnt do anything.

I mean a 2k rpm fan only pull like 3-4w, so 2x fans shouldn't be 12w...
