Hey people greetings from Hvar,Croatia.Ok,i have question.I bought USB 3.0 enclosure and put empty Crucial m4 in it.Then connect it to Intel USB 3.0 and it gives me only 200mb/s.After that i connect it to ASMedia USB 3.0 and same thing, only 200mb/s.I looked into enclosure and on chip writes ASMedia 1051,so it got to be USB 3.0.
If it was USB 2.0 it would give me only 30mb/s,right?
Somebody have any idea or experiences with this.
System:
Intel i7 3770K - ASUS P8Z77 V-DELUXE - Patriot Viper Extreme 2 x 4Gb 2133 - 2 x Samsung 840 PRO 128Gb Raid0 - Gigabyte HD7850 OC 2GB - Windows 7 64 bit
P.S. I would post a picture of ATTO but i dont know how.

only 200mb/s

I don't think I would say "only" 200, that seems very fast to me.

In my experience, USB2 is something like 25-30Mbps, yes. It seems safe to say that you aren't running at USB2 speeds.

I have USB3 ports in my PC but don't have a USB3 external drive, so I can't say for sure what to expect there. 200Mbps sounds great, for what that's worth.

.It seems that i have to install that lousy software if i want that speed.
But i think i got one more problem. It seems that ASMedia 1051 is only "sata2 to usb 3.0" and ASMedia 1051E is "sata3 to usb 3.0".I am not 100% sure what writes on chip,i have to find magnifying glass.
Tnx trecerbullet and Insert Nickname

A native USB3 controller/chassis for the external drive would probably be significantly faster. But he's right, 200MB is nothing to sneeze at.
