Z77 raid0 odd failure?

For some reason the array says one of the drive is status FAILED, but the array is fine, as I can access data no problem. I even copied everything off as precautionary without an issue.

Any way to troubleshoot it? Nothing in event viewer, when I boot, the CTRL I does show a drive error, but nothing to help fix it, haha.

I did, and it still shows a failure, yet it works fine. The array error :

If you can't seem to get it sorted out that's what i would do.

I mean, the array would most likely last a long time in that state, but seeing as it is a raid 0 you might as well. As long as the data is secured there won't be any problems and the rebuild time of a RAID 0 is nothing at all.

A tip though: I found that creating an array in IRST software actually caused slower performance than creating the array via the boot menu before system start up. I can't understand why, but i tested it with 4x 1TB WD RE4 drives and all my results were slower when i created the array in IRST.

But yea, if i was you i would scrub your disks and start fresh.

crap, same drive failed ... yet still works fine. array shows failed and whatnot.

Is there any way to test this disk?
