Z68x UD7 B3 / RAM support

I've read that some motherboards are capable of supporting higher RAM speeds than stated in the spec. Looking to upgrade my RAM and was wondering if faster RAM than the 2133 stated in the spec sheet might be an option. Spec: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3847#sp

My reasoning is that I will be upgrading MoBo / CPU next fall and I'd rather this current RAM upgrade be purchased with an eye toward re-using in the upgrade next year rather than replaced at that time.

It's hard to speculate what the future will bring, but right now CPUs aren't really using memory bandwidth above what they are rated. The only thing that would concern me is buying RAM now for a future build, and hoping that memory type has stayed the same.

So, if you need memory now, go ahead and get something similar to what you have (memory is cheap enough) and take care of the future when the time comes.
