I'm guessing the answer to this question is yes, but it's worth double-checking. You have the OS installed on the HDD, correct?

Yeah. I installed this normally on a regular disk drive and used it for a few months.

I purchased the SSD recently and wanted to use it as the cache via the Z68 caching thingie.

The link I provided in the OP seems to imply that it's doable without having to reformat and start fresh.

Yeah, the typical way that you do SRT is to set it up after the OS is configured. It "shouldn't" matter whether or not that's 5 minutes after or 4 months after. Do you have both the SSD and HDD on the Intel SATA ports?

How can I tell? I just plugged the cables into the SATA 3gb ports.

Are you seeing an "Intel Raid Manager Press CTRL+I" text on POST? I would also double check the manual to make sure the ports you're using for both drives are run by the z68 chipset.

For my Asrock z68 I had to install "Intel Management Engine driver", reboot and then install "Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver". After that I was able to load the control panel and see the accelerate tab.

I do see the CTRL+I. I went into that window and it asks to select two drives. I can't seem to actually click any of them (they are displayed though).

Okay, I'll try installing that Management Engine.

OK, if the CTRL-I screen shows both your drives, that means that they both are on the Intel controller. Try Mark's suggestion, I'm stumped otherwise.
