Z68 caching with directory junctions

SSD OS drive, Mechanical HDD, and SSD cache drive.

If I create a junction from the HDD to the OS drive while caching the HDD on the 2nd SSD, will Intel's RST caching try to cache the files that are already loading off an SSD?

From my understanding, no.

The files are not on the HDD so the caching SSD will not cache them. All the SSD will cache is part of the file allocation table that says "look over there".

The key points is that junctions are at the file allocation level (or there abouts IIRC), and the SSD caching is below it.
