Hi,
I just got a new set of Logitech z560 speakers. I hooked them all up and when I turned them on for the first time I hit the power switch and then the M3D switch. Nothing worked. However, when I turn off the M3D it works fine. Any ideas? Defective speakers?
Also, I'm wondering what the "optimal" settings are for bass, fade, volume, etc. Just for normal listening. In the z560 manual it says "To balance the output between the front and rear speakers, turn the fade knob." Now I'm no expert, in fact I basically don't know jack about speakers, but this would seem to me to be a sort of balance function except between front/rear. However, the fade knob just seems to be another way of saying volume control. I'm perplexed... any explanations/clarifications?
Thanks,

btw you can just e-mail me at cthuerter@roxors.com also, any input appreciated
