Z560s in 5.1

I was wondering how I would go about trying to make my z560s go 5.1? I have a TB Santa Cruz, which has a plug for center/bass. What would be a good middle speaker to use on par with the other 4 speakers? And would that even work? I've tried some junky speakers and hooked it to the middle and it sounds alright, not as powerful as the others.

Anyone done this?

The speaker isn't going to sound as good because it's not hooked up to any sort of amplifier, so it's only the power from the card that's getting through, and it won't be on par with the z-560's.

Bah, don't half ass it. Just get the 680's and be done with it.

Right after I bought the z560s less than 6 months ago? I don't think so... I don't know about you, but the z560s were expensive enough for me to buy let alone buy another set that is more..

I read in a previous thread that you can just plug in another set of 2.1 speakers into your center/bass port and they will function as center speakers.

Yeah, I know... I have some sorry quality ones in the middle channel now, but I wanted to know what a good speaker(s) would be good to match with the other ones the z560 comes with.

Call Logitech and say one of your current sattelties doesn't work. Get them to send you a "replacement" speaker. If not, ask to pay for one.

Even if that was ethical, which it isn't.... that would not work. the Z560s can only support 4 speakers + sub. What I'm asking/looking for is a good one speaker setup that would be self powered (or maybe two speakers) that I could put on top of my monitor and plug into the middle channel on my sound card and would act as the 5th speaker to create the 5.1 sound.
