hmm..
after blowing out my z560s i proceeded to RMA my speakers. logitech instructed me to cut the power cord off the sub and mail that with control tower in. so after i cut my power cord.. i notice that there is a place to access the fuse. i take it out and low and behold its a blown 50cent fuse. so now im kinda POed about wasting all this down time shipping money etc to get these new speakers. but i started thinking.. if i could replace the fuse and the power cord... logitech lets me keep these as they only want the control tower and power cord..
so basically.. im thinking if i can find a 'control tower' for this sub, rpelace fuse and power cord... i can have an xtra set of z560s.
do you think i could purchase just the z560 control tower anywhere?? or another question would be.. would contorl towers for similar 4.1 setups work with the logitech, for instance the altec 4.1s that put out 200watts RMS... they all use the same input plug thing.. so if i found a replacement control tower (either from z560 or another speaker set) would this work? thanks for ya expertise guys.
