As the title states, I'm looking for a Z170 motherboard with at least two intel gigabit ethernet ports.

Preferably, both would use the same chipset; however, they must be intel.
The only other requirement is ATX form factor.
If it comes down to a tie-breaker, I will award points to the 'better' audio solution, lower price, and finally looks.

So far I've found these:

After much searching, I cannot seem to find what chipset(s) the Gigabyte mobo uses.
Does anyone know?

Also, does anyone have any other suggestions for a Z170 with dual intel NICs?

Thanks!

I don't get why two Intel NICs aren't the same? Is there some sort of master-slave relationship between the two different chipsets, used for teaming?

One of the chips, the i219, is only a phy that uses the MAC built into the chipset. Because the chipset only has one MAC, the other controller needs a full ethernet chip which has both it's own MAC and the phy circuits.

In case anyone stumbles upon this thread:
I ended up with the GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-UD5.

I can confirm that it has a I219-V + I211-AT configuration.

Also... neither Windows 7 nor Windows 10 had built-in drivers for these network adapters!
Under Windows 7 it also did not have any USB driver support!

If you have single connection, is there one would use over the other? The V one seems faster on some benchies.
