I already have the 1U chassis fans psu ram 2 x 951s and a 400gb intel 750.
Just waiting for the cpu and board.
But also will get u2 adapter for the 3rd m2 slot.
Been using 951s w little copper hsinks.
Hoping the intel 750 can do intensive reads with out the issues I get on the 951s.
Anyone have a 750?
If not if anyone else is getting the z170 what memory sub system will you be using.

Might be a good idea to wait till z170 mobos are available. Then see what the memory specs are.

If I were going to use only I viedo card I would go with a 1151 setup.
Now if I needed a few cards plus 2 x 951s and a 400gb intel 750 I would not use 1151.
I would go with a with a 5820k or 5830k instead.
With 1151 your limited with 16 pci-e lanes off the cpu.
Now the new DMI 3.0 interface may help by running more slower lanes off the chipst.
Asrock is sharing lanes to get all the extra ports on the mb.
