this just started recently. . . the headphone jack used to work fine . .then suddenly, whenever i plug hadphones in to it, the sound is very faint and distorted. i have to turn the volume up max on both the speakers and the computer to hear anything. There is also a lot of distortion in the audio. What happened? Can I, should I get a replacement?
 
If it is within warranty I'd go for the replacement. Logitech has had many people shake them down for replacements to fix the hissing problem so they should be more than willing to replace one with a legitimate problem.
