Hi all,
I'm pretty experienced with computers, but not so much with audio equipment, so I was hoping someone here could give me some advice. I've had the Creative DTT2500 for 5 years now, and I never felt that I had them properly hooked up. They've started dying, and I've put in an order for some new Z-5500s. I currently have an Audigy first generation, and I was wondering what my hook-up possibilities look like.
What's the difference between analog and digital?
What do I need to use the digital connection for the Z-5500s?
How do I make sure I'm getting 5.1 surround sound from movies?
How about for games? How about 3D positional audio?
What should I have installed on my Audigy besides the drivers?
Thanks alot!
