Z-2300 subwoofer rattling

I got these speakers for Christmas, and I thought there were no problems. But, I recently moved the set back to my dorm room, and started noticing a very slight rattle in the subwoofer. It's not really noticeable unless I'm just a few inches from the sub, but it is present even at low volumes. The rattle goes away when I put pressure on the front of the sub, leading me to believe it's just a mechanical problem and that I haven't blown the sub.

Should I send the speakers back?

have you tried tightening all the available bolts on the subwoofer?

Are you saying I should try opening it up? All I see on the outside are screws holding the back plate on, and I haven't done anything with those.
