I used to work off Wilshire and LaBrea in Los Angeles and one morning we were sitting in the office when we heard a loud crash. We ran outside to see an older man slumped behind the wheel of a late model Lincoln Continental with the front end of the car firmly embedded into the side of the building.

We think he put the car in drive but had his foot on the gas instead of the brake so instead of planting his foot on the brake he was really pushing down the accelerator. He had about 50 yards of parking lot to build up speed and a few of those parking barriers that he went over before plowing into the side of the building.

Lots of women like to use the cell phone and drive. I can't stand it personally. I hate to use the cell phone, while driving, lots of people do. It's distracting as hell. Not saying I haven't, if someone calls me, I will answer. I choose not to and will wait till I am at my distination.

I was out and about one Saturday, decided to pull over, in a church parking lot, and call a friend of mine. Cop pulled up next to me, asked me if everything was alright. "Just using the phone officer, I hate to use it, and drive." I told him. He looked at me totally dumbfounded. OK then, carry on. He left. He didn't know what to say to me after that. 😀 LOL.

Women get into more accidents. Period. That is an indisputable fact.

The reason why men's premiums are higher is because when men get into accidents, we cause all sorts of damages, and have higher incidents of fatalities. We get into much more serious accidents.

They are only safer in the sense that they won't kill you if they get into an accident. There is a less chance of an accident with a male driver, but if it does happen, you may not walk away.

So basically it's "many, but smaller/less serious accidents" vs "fewer, but more serious accidents". I can see that.

Well, I agree, women overall, collectively, get into more accidents than man, or in other words, are the cause of more accidents on the road.
