There is a reason the wife and I are going to eventually die childless I guess.
We are beyond the point of having one and not too concerned, and it wasn't a lack of being able to.
Still could.
Just didn't want to.
My wife and I don't subscribe to the social pressure of having kids.
A few people here and there have pulled the "you don't have kids so you wouldn't know" card. 100% of them have wild uncontrolled kids with absolutely no respect for anyone especially their parents and after digging deeper their kids were at or below a C average at school too. What did this tell me? They had kids because that was social convention and that was it, they didn't have kids cause they wanted them and were capable of being good parents.
I am flat out not impressed with people who have kids and wear it as some accomplishment. Every member of the animal kingdom has offspring every single day, rats, dogs, pigeons etc. You want to impress me.. raise a kid that moves out at age 18, lives within their means, gets a job on their own without any help, doesn't go into crippling debt buying dumb $h!t and isn't a lemming to consumer culture (makes choices on their own, doesn't subscribe to bigger is ALWAYS better) that would actually impress me. Until then in the words of Bill Burr "We already have that guy.. stop making that guy!!"
