On the other hand, it's also a tax on stupidity. You know, separating fools and their money and all that.

Once 2012 comes and goes, they'll just find some other apocalypse tale to follow, and if it's popular enough, someone else will sensationalize it and make money off of morons. That, and it can also be entertaining to watch really really stupid movies. ;)
